Baskin

August 27, 2007

Just want to share some cute pictures here of Baskin.

Yes this lil fella’s name’s Baskin. Months ago when he took his first step around the house, he’s less than a feet in length. Now, he’s getting big, prefer lazing around by our feet than sleeping in his own cage.

Hello…..

“Stay away from my bone!”

“I’m bored…”

This is the I’m Sorry look…

KL Sunrise Digi Jazz Festival 2007

August 26, 2007

It’s Heineken night at the KL Jazz Festival @ Plaza Mont’ Kiara. But I just have to order a Tiger. Can’t help it. :D

Saturday night saw the likes of Sharizan & Swing Inc and the Aseana Percussion Unit come out to play as they entertained us with some excellent music and showmanship. Sharizan came on stage at around 9.30pm after some performance by the Mont’ Kiara’s japanese youths and he performed until 10.45pm before the Aseana steps in to continue the night at 11pm. In between, prizes was given away to lucky draw winners as well as Q&A winners. Sadly, the MC didn’t bother to come over to the Chakra Palace area and only stick to the tables nearest to the stage.

Were you there last night as well? Do comment on the show. For more photos, you can find them here.

Single Track Mind’s One Day

August 26, 2007

Check out this excellent music video by Single Track Mind, a Malaysian band lead by Alex that is making waves across Asia. The title of the song is One Day. It’s an adaptation of Peterpan’s Mungkin Nanti with English lyrics and arrangement by Single Track Mind. I’ve actually posted about this before but I couldn’t find that post, so I’ll post this again. Try to see if you can spot me in this music video.

Pictures from the making of the music video can be found here.

Wannabe Civic

August 23, 2007

I’m sure many of you watched TRANSFORMERS The Movie. For those that haven’t, I want to ask… “How long are you planning to sit inside that Cave?”

Anyway, you know how Bumblebee morphed itself from an old car to a new car at the tunnel scene? Check this out, I think I caught a local Gen2 morphing into a Civic. I was parking my car in Taman Tun Dr. Ismail when I saw this car. Now, it’s about 6pm and I haven’t drank any alcohol so I’m very sure my eyes didn’t deceive me.

As I parked my car, I had this strange feeling that this Civic doesn’t look a single bit like a Civic but more like a Gen2.

But the badges on the car isn’t a Proton or Gen2’s badge but that of Mugen, which the last I recall is a performance brand for Honda. Right?

The rear is a typical Gen2 rear. WOW.. Twin Exhaust!

I went round the back of the car and yup, the badge definitely say CIVIC TypeR. Can you see it?

The side of the car also spots the Mugen badge.

Now,  can someone tell me I’m drunk and what I saw is an actual Civic?
